Outdoor living in The Heights

The Heights has a character you can't fake, historic bungalows, deep front porches, and narrow lots with their own quirks and, in the historic districts, their own rules. We design outdoor spaces that fit that fabric instead of flattening it, whether that's a tucked-in side-yard courtyard or a compact patio that finally makes an odd-shaped lot usable.

A lot of our Heights projects are smaller in footprint but big in impact: a paver courtyard around a gas fire feature, a seat wall, privacy planting, and warm string lighting overhead. The bungalow scale rewards intimacy, so we design for the corners and the evenings rather than for square footage.

People choose the Heights for the personality, and they want their backyard to have some too. We treat a small courtyard here with the same care as a full build, because in this neighborhood the details are the whole point.
